We also have to be responsive to those posting questions, I posed a sincere question the other day and received minimal interaction. Reception like that does not make it enticing for members to bring questions to the community in the future. We will grow though! Really enjoy being here.
Hell yeah! Puff, puff, pass!
I have noticed a huge increase in effect and efficiency since I switched to a dry herb vape. When I make I smoke I use wayyyy more grind than I do for the vape. It’s also nice having the freedom to “adjust” my high and tailor it to what I want out of my strain for that day.
Be interested to see if you had such a cavalier attitude if you were one of the jurors now required to sequester for their safety or have armed police officers outside of your home so your spouse and children are safe while you’re off fulfilling your mandated civil service at jury duty.
Worse yet maybe you’re one of the law enforcement professionals who has their life forever altered because they have to use deadly force while on their security detail at one of those homes, protecting innocent lives, because some radicals thought it was “fair play” to leak addresses and names of innocent members of a jury.
But these are just my two cents, and with inflation we know two cents isn’t worth what it used to be.
The best way for the Reddit community to fight back is to leave to another community. In order for that to happen the Fediverse options have to keep growing and improving, like they are, so that people leaving feel comfortable knowing they have a good option. Reddit will be dead in 6 months.
I personally hope they go bankrupt. I mean I feel bad for the average worker just trying to make a living, but fuck Reddit. Those folks should jump ship while they can and do something better for themselves.
I am truly hoping Christian or u/lupeski come here and show their awesome talent off in the Fediverse!
You rock!! As soon as I find a way to pin this I will.
undefined> I just subscribed to both and kept getting depressing memes to cry before going to sleep. No issues.
Hahahaha I’m sorry but the way you snuck this in at the end just killed me. But you have a valid point. Every platform like Reddit/Lemmy has duplicates. That is kind of the point.
I am still learning Lemmy, but I agree with you from what I am seeing. There is no “karma farming” here right? So the motivation is mostly people who want to engage?
Except it’s not actually going to get you the results they claim to deliver…
