A trend in PCs is mini displays for stats. But linux support seems to be lacking for most. A pi screen with touchscreen support seems like a good option for the use case - assuming someone works out the details.
If you get there too early they'll try to send you home. If you get there too late you will be too late for epidural.
You prob want to be there on the early side.

Try isopropyl alcohol 70%. The stuff you use for disinfectant in the first aid aisle. Soft rubbery plastics do this over time. The alcohol will strip the soft material that is disintegrating and leave the smooth plastic behind.
We just had a window replaced and the installer seems to have chosen a narrower window. There is now a gap outside the window - that is the vinyl ledge that the window sits on is wider than the width of the window itself.
Seems like something that would collect water when it rains.
Is this OK? Should it be caulked or something to ensure water stays out?

I don't think that's toooo different from Tesla or many other automakers. None of them call it 'self driving'. They're driver assistants.
