If I recall, this was posted after the looting of the Lake St. Target in Minneapolis across from the 3rd precinct

That is what a moralist is, to be fair, although maybe that's not what their intended meaning was

This is where we diverge I think, because to an anarchist, a "program of adventurism" is clearly a contradiction in terms. The wise might observe, perhaps correctly, that just getting a gun and fixing a problem will have a number of unintended consequences, bring increased recriminations from power, get you put in a cell or strapped to a table, turn the people away from their destiny or whatever, and maybe we ought to spend a chapter of a book or 10 minutes of a meeting elaborating upon just how foolish it is to want, and the end result is that your program, historically in the US at least, is one of inaction, waiting for the material conditions to be other than what they are so that socialism can finally be a realistic and rational enterprise.

If it were merely a question of strategy, I think any scholar of military tactics will agree that there is a time and a place attack, but the issue I take is with the attitude, where discovering that time and place by experience and practice is relegated to science fiction.

it's so fuckin goofy like it's not even a specific rule it's just something you think of when you first learn about the legal system like, wait the jury decides if the defendant is guilty of the crime? they can say whatever they want, so if they do think the defendant is guilty but they don't think they should be punished, they can just say they think they're not guilty, right? and then you think, no, surely that's stupid, how would the legal system even function if that was happening, and then you find out that it only doesn't work like that because people are thoroughly convinced that the law is a Real Thing beyond and outside of the decisions of the people that claim to uphold it like christian morality kicks us all in the butthole once again.

call it bait and disengage. if they're serious, this person does not have a brain in a meaningful sense.

the scolding is integral to marx-leninism. the single-minded focus on achieving the revolution through rigorous theory and action keeps them on track, but also makes them respond with venom to -- in their mind -- unwarranted displays of radical emotion.

20 or 30 homeless people camped in the parking lot of an unoccupied office building. They had had been there for a little over a month. As I was leaving for work this morning 6 cop cars turned the corner. When I got back, there was yellow tape everywhere and all the tents were in a pile waiting to be loaded into a garbage truck.

How can we destroy these monsters? What hope is there? What good am I that I did nothing to stop any of it?

So, I'm not a very experienced drafter, but I know you're supposed to return the lands you take from the land station. Recently though I attended a WOE draft (faeries, 1-2-0) and accidentally walked off with the 16 lands I borrowed. I know monetarily that's only a few cents, money that the store probably made back that night just off sales from the bulk box, but in terms of etiquette, just how bad is it?

Especially welcome comments from people who have worked in game stores.

I've been using Archidekt. I really like the built-in playtester, but the interface can be kind of sluggish, and some of the design decisions, especially around categorizing and sorting, are quite clunky.

I know there are a lot of options but I haven't tried any of them. Are there any that you'd recommend?
