"I skipped the paywall by opening the page in my browser's article mode. Strips out most CSS and JS popups."
Thank you, I guess I shouldn't assume people have their web browsers configured to get past that. :/
Or I am someone who lost his enlisted best friend to the Iraq war.
But yeah, you totally know me and my motivations.
You worthless fucktard.
Thank you for pointing this out!
Also, ugh...
Thank you for saying that.
Ugh, "I didn't join the revolution to read" is such a dumb statement.
Ah, 2026.
I do not really want to pay attention to the news, given there is little i can do to change things, but everything keeps getting more expensive (Ex: gas, food).
So, you look up why, go down a rabbit hole of news and feel somewhere between exhausted and helpless.
One of my closest friends died during the Iraq War, I was much younger then, 17+ years ago now. It hurts though, an it hurts knowing other people are going to have to carry that weight as well, for those needlessly slaughtered, sacrificed, globally.
There are no survivor benefits and free counseling for friends.
FARC and ELN elements could view him as some sort of leverage against the USA somehow as well. There's a lot of reasons President Pedophile was worried about putting soldiers on the ground.
My parents, unfortunately.
Since at least 1970, every decade there seems to be a, "The VR take over is here!" fad and it falls flat every time.
Those VR rollercoaster shuttle rides in malls during the 1980s and early 1990s, thinking that is the future, oh boy, we were all so silly.
The majority of planet earth does not know what, "tankie" means anyway.
