'I am not okay with this'

God, yes! I don't actually know what any of the numbers are, but I'm convinced that if this hadn't come out during the pandemic we would have absolutely gotten more.

It's entirely subjective. There is no singular answer.

I'm not about to make any claims of legitimacy to this, but having read the article, I do think it's worth others reading. There is a lot that is suspicious, and it's not a particularly difficult thing to verify (although it is slow, expensive, and you know the GOP is going to be making every possible effort to prevent a recount, whether they're guilty or not).

In Washington state, you can just be nude. As long as you are not doing anything to be "obscene".

Because people didn't dress up as mermaids and go to cons and express how deep down inside they truly are a mermaid, and have a high likelihood of fucking someone else who also felt the same way.

when I was growing up

This is really the key. We're all stupid and unaware of how things work and the particular goings-ons when we're kids. There were plenty of shitty people running the tech giant companies back then, but we just didn't realize the extent of what was happening.

Edit: The evolution of social media also adds a lot to this. We are both more connected to each other and society, and therefore more aware of BS think it's pulled by corporations. Then, of course, you have folks like Elon Musk who seem to make a point of making sure everyone knows how big of a piece of shit they are, and how proud of it they are.

I am fully on the Sync train. It does get a lot of hate here because it's not FOSS, but it was the best app around for Reddit, and the dev converted it for Lemmy. It's so far above and beyond everything else that I'm happy to pay for it. There's a free version with ads, and there's the expensive paid upgrade ($20). The dev regularly disappears for months, but when he surfaces, he'll roll out a massive amount of bug fixes and features.

Odo has absolutely always returned the cart. In fact, I'd say he's tracked down everyone he can find that hasn't returned the cart and forced them to return one in front of him.
