And everyone already has an account, they can just press a button to join the server and be interacting straight away.
Nighed
Because then you have an expensive robot not being used, while still keeping the wage bill.
yeh, UK school kids get 6 weeks holiday in the summer alone.
I currently fill up fuel about once every two months unless I do a long trip.... So probably the phone. Could actually save an ok amount of money not having to get new phones/battery replacements.
Less useful if the EU law on replaceable batteries gives us options in the UK.
(not original commenter) It's not really needed in or near European cities in a lot of cases.
I have one because I had a job I needed to drive to at one point, but now, I can cycle most places, or get things delivered. Not paying for a car can pay for a lot of taxis for the other cases.
Was thinking of getting one of those tiny electric 2 seat cars with sub 100 mile ranges to cover most of the remaining cases.

Places with the wireless battery powered payment terminals will still work without power for a while. Lots of them don't even need network, they just sync up later.
But for the most part, if there is a significant power outage, things are screwed anyway.
I think the idea is that there are other events with similar risk profiles, the papal election is just an example of one.
I remember going to the natural history museum as a kid and feeling sick from all the pollution.
Now it's not a problem at all there.
It's a custom chip though isn't it? Seems a strange choice
Is this a new build, or an existing building?
If it's an existing building, with an existing HOA, then it should already have a bank account? (Probably with funds in it!)
If it's new, build up an emergency fund, but leave it in a bank. putting it into stocks is crazy, it's an emergancy/maintenance fund, you need to know how much is there, trust it's not going to just disappear and be able to access it quickly.
Make sure you understand the voting rights and who has authority to access the money if there is going to be a significant sum in there.
