While I won't deny this is a bit disappointing because the ADHD community on lemmy.world seemed to be a decent one, I understand that this decision is you doing the best work you can with the tools you have. Let's hope that the Lemmy codebase can expand to allow for finer granularity.

Sadly sorting on new also has its issues with the auto updates and content getting pushed down automatically. I'm hoping that gets fixed soon.

"Zoomed in picture" is a pretty popular emoji category on the discord server I have with my friends. Here's a few:

I'm using a cheap projector off BangGood on top of a camera tripod. There's a bit of set-up time every time I want to cut some fabric since I can't mount it to the ceiling but it's still way quicker than printing, taping, and cutting pdf patterns!
This cute raccoon brushed French terry was turned into a Tilly and the Buttons Billie Sweater.

Stable Diffusion, refined with img2img and rearranging keywords in the prompt across runs for emphasis on certain facial features.

It's difficult to take pics of a reflective surface :')
I bought the svg files from Etsy, cut using my Silhouette Cameo, assembled it all in a IKEA frame, and added a LED string that I scavenged from an advent calendar from last year.

Although I'm a bit sad about no plans for Apollo for Lemmy, I definitely get the reasoning he gives - a double heartbreak is the last thing I'd wish on him. I got the Pixel Pals app (yay, cute raccoons!) to show support for his work & the challenges lately.

Yeah, their interview with Christian Selig was an interesting read as well: Apollo’s Christian Selig explains his fight with Reddit — and why users revolted

I wonder if the comments about no significant revenue drop still holds true today. I was quite surprised to see that there doesn't seem to be too big a drop in posts & comments (~1k) aside from the crash yesterday. https://blackout.photon-reddit.com/

Tiger is our wobbly kitty so he has some special poses and expressions sometimes!

Pattern: Twig + Tale Adult Wayfarer Shoes
Fabric: leftover bamboo terry cloth lining and upcycled denim outer

I added some sock stop dots on the bottom to make them less slippery. They're definitely too warm for summer though, I will probably end up making a linen or cotton pair to wear in warmer weather. I'm also going to experiment with thick/rigid interfacing for the soles so they're not as floppy.

It's certainly something to see all the different instance names :)

I've been interested in trying Disco Elysium, good to know that it runs well on the Deck! You mentioned playing on the train - is it a good game to play in short bursts?

They say they are working with other apps but there were other devs posting that they've been trying to reach out but not getting any answers. The ball is being dropped on so many aspects.

Chocolate (dark and with praline or hazelnuts), salty crackers, hummus (my favorites are sweet pepper and sundried tomato) with breadsticks.

If it's just the beans, I eat them straight up. If they're in the pod: steam, sprinkle with flaky salt, and eat them by putting the pod in your mouth (so you get the salt!) and popping the beans out.

Usually any kind of fantasy book! There are already good recommendations in this thread for those so I'll also mention books aimed more towards a younger audience, they tend to feel nostalgic and warm. Books like the classic editions of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Winnie-the-Pooh :)
