Jeez I get wanting authenticity, but if I had full control, I'm not sure the weather would be part of what I'd keep authentic from the Highlands haha.
Fact it's from A24 fills me with hope. That said I've never played the games, but I do know A24 movies..

Looks like they started with playing around with liquid egg whites (you can buy that stuff in bottles), then gradually went down the dark path of increasing yolk proportions which I assume they could only do by manually separating eggs before cooking.
It sounded to me like they were requirements to prevent snakes and spiders to crawl in from it.

Yes, at the core I have the same perspective as the op, but realistically it's never gonna be "one government" it's gonna be a huge mess with local governments, alliances, treaties, delegations and so on and so forth. I kinda think that might be a good thing though, the layers of democracy are a safeguard.
That's just called breakfast.
