Probably for the same reason I have a closet full of computer parts, except I can’t fit tractors and cars in my closet.

What’s up with all the heroes acquiring power over death? Must be some sort of conspiracy.

Everyone has a different amount of curiosity for different things. Just because someone doesn’t want to know how a carburetor works doesn’t mean they aren’t interested in other things.

Also curiosity can be a luxury. Some people are very focused on following the beaten path because they think it might be safer. Start asking questions and rocking boats and you might cause problems. Curiosity killed the cat and all that. Over a lifetime people settle into their own groove of curiosity and satisfaction.

Ah, I think you may have missed the memo.

During the last vote it was decided that we would prioritize the dignity of workers over the glory of the state. We determined that farmers can grow pretty much whatever they want as long as they’re respectful of their neighbors. Additionally as part of our agricultural department’s work they will add novel hybrids grown by farmers to our seed bank so that people will have access to a variety of crops and can choose what best suits their climate and needs. Obviously the department has recommendations for what to grow, but we’re not ignorant of the fact that all things change in time. Climate, soil quality, people’s tastes, etc.

Also as part of our efforts we’ll try to stay ahead of outstanding circumstances such as a fungus or parasite destroying an overly relied upon crop.

If you have any suggestions for changes please submit a pull request to our legal code in source control. To be respectful of people’s time we recommend discussing changes with neighbors and colleagues before submitting a pull request, as many problems can be resolved without involvement of the law.

Making me pay $80 for Mario Kart World impacts me way more directly than a company exploiting public water resources, ergo Nintendo is more evil than Nestle.

Nothing says “Friday” like the failure of a critical system!

Don’t use someone else’s yardstick to measure your success.

I’m afraid I’m going to have to ignore what you just said. :(

If it makes you feel any better, as an American I don’t judge people based on decisions made by their country. We’re all stuck on this planet together and I’d like everyone to have some good times if possible.

Anyone have any ideas on how to kill God? I was thinking a out it and I think for a lot of people "God" is just this undefined "thing" out there that they can attribute other things to.

Like imagine a caveman kid talking to their caveman parent and asking questions like "Why is there a day and a night? Why is sky blue? Why is dog died?"

And the caveman parent just makes something up.

When people don't know the cause of something, they can create a cause out of their imagination.

God will always be lurking in the imaginations of stupid people, and we will always have stupid people on this planet.

For a while this scared me because I'm a stupid person with an imagination, so I knew the idea of "God" will stay with me till I die (since I can't think about anything when I die).

So I think the only way to kill God is if everyone dies. But even then it's a gamble because there's a whole "if a tree falls in a forest?" aspect.

Anyone else have any ideas?

What if there were voice chat channels you could join in a thread to discuss posts? The idea would be to give people a richer way of communicating instead of just typing comments and replies.

Update: I just realized what I really wanted was to have a conversation, so I'm going to get off the internet and actually go talk to people in the real world.

If what they believe is true, one day they may be forced to realize their mistakes.
