There were a few Democrats that actually wanted Mitt Romney because he could “unite the nation”.
I’m paraphrasing but Angela Merkel was asked why she supports sanctions on Russia for “invading” Crimea even though the US does it all the time… and she responded something like, “We know the Americans are bad but they never do anything to us.”
This is a modern day war, and this is but one Western shot taken on China.
The propaganda is rather excellent.
The US is a great place to live… if you’re already wealthy. Everyone else? Not so much.
Why bother getting rid of it (other than political reasons)? If even one website is using it, getting rid of it would hurt them.
Also it bothers me that despite “.us” existing, the United States uses .com or .gov as to state that the US is the “standard”.
Eliminating all the Jews
Despite the fact that Islam commands that “people of the book” are to be protected?! Despite that Palestine protected the Jewish people for centuries when Westerners were forcing them into ghettos, pogroming them or genociding them?
I could potentially see it in the West but we still need things to get a lot worse, we’re going to need to see a massive drop in the quality of life and under an explicitly fascist regime.
It’s not happening for at least a decade though.
I still remember a Mexican place that had a “worker’s lunch” of two tacos or a burrito and a can of soda for $5.
