I actually disagree, Elon has been a high profile, staunch supporter of the Republicans and Trump for a while now and was at a high level position with a lot of influence on the government (head of DOGE), and still has significant influence on Republicans, I think it's only natural to ask someone like that their opinions on government policy.

Huh, I thought China was always the bigger power. Interesting. But wasn't the Japanese economy at some point literally almost as big as the US one? That's not really true on the graph?

I mean, if unmotivated soldiers were useless then drafting wouldn't really be a thing. You get a hell of a lot of motivation to survive when you're thrown into combat.

I've been using Zen for about a month now and I'm very happy with it. I like the design and feel of it, and it's actively being developed all the time. Don't think I've had any significant bugs (except a few very minor ones) or issues whilst using it yet.

I mean, its literally the same thing as using a Master Card or Visa card, they're both US firms. And I find it extremely convenient not to have to pull out my wallet and rummage through it each time to find my card and then sometimes be forced to type in my pin, and then have to put the card back in and my wallet back into my pocket. I just have to tap my phone, which is always on me (would be even more convenient if I had a watch that supported it as well but I don't), and sometimes have to rescan my fingerprint to confirm.

I'm pretty sure that they removed a lot of the telemetry in a very recent update, so I'm not sure how it stacks up now.

I mean, that really wasn't a "meltdown" but sure.

I mean, for most users there's not much meaningful difference between OS's other than the UI, especially when comparing iterations of the same OS

Now I'm wondering what they said

I just recently switched from gmail to Mailfence with a custom domain, and I'm pretty happy thus far. I looked into it for a while trying to find the best option, and Mailfence turned out the best for me. Tuta was too locked down for me and Mailbox just rubbed me the wrong way. Mailbox has had a known major security issue with custom domains for literally 7 years now and still has yet to addressed it, their webmail is extremely slow and buggy (would switch to German randomly), they don't encrypt messages at rest (which to be fair isn't too important, but a lot of other services still do it), and I've seen multiple reports of their support being sub-par. I feel like they're probably still fine, but I just feel more confident in Mailfence.
