I vastly prefer non-optimal life to not existing at all.

How could you possibly know that? Do you remember not existing?

"hi my car is making a noise that sounds exactly like a faulty wheel bearing. I think my wheel bearing is broken."

"No, it's not. You can go now."

I don't see how this analogy makes their arrogant dismissals any better.

This just means the very few people who are filthy rich will be even filthier in the next generation.

This is not a statement about average wealth, it's about the total punt of wealth held by millennials, and conveniently ignores that all of that wealth will be held by just a few individuals while the rest of generation languishes.

But halfwits will read this and think "See, everything is fine! We're going to be rich!"

The CEO of Docusign, a company that JUST signs documents for you, made $85,940,000 this year," wrote another person, whose post garnered over 22,000 likes.

That just shows how grossly overpaid other executives are. The problem isn't that Wikipedia execs aren't paid enough, it's that other executives are paid way too much.

Some places have bylaws on maximum lawn height and you can actually be fined for letting it go. That's how insane people are about lawns.

The nuance is that "near miss" and "nearly miss" mean exact opposites.

"Near miss" means it almost hits, but actually misses.

"Nearly miss" means it almost misses, but it actually hits.

They just messed up the phrase.

Holy shit, somebody is actually pointing their finger at the right people!

I can't believe he's not talking about drinking straws or plastic bags or some other laughable distraction.

It literally says "all wealth" and doesn't talk about income at all.

This is exactly the kind of tax we need. I think its a very interesting idea to tie it to median wealth, though using household as opposed to individual wealth I'm not sold on.
