This is honestly an entirely valid complaint. There are way too many motorcyclists who replace their mufflers with aftermarket ones that are illegally loud, in some cases loud enough to cause hearing damage to pedestrians.
We do! In my area there are quite a few of us and we operate a number of collectives providing things like:
- Free meals
- Free groceries
- Bike repair workshops
- Theory reading groups
- Clothing
- Social activities
Of course there's also a lot of direct action going on for various causes.
Why did I even pretend I could get away without saying it -3-
ADHD is basically the only reason I'm able to work in the area I do, I have absolutely no formal training in it other than what I taught myself while procrastinating.
I'm a vegan, and fuck those people.
I've got a medical condition that meant I had to take it fairly slowly just it be sure my body wasn't going to literally fall apart when I went vegan, luckily I'm doing well (in a few ways I'm actually much better off now, though I'm still scared of falling apart). Medical conditions are valid as hell for not going vegan, I wasn't aware of how an eating disorder could prevent it but I've read a fair bit online now, so thankyou for sharing.
One of the scariest moments of my life was when my friends and I were publically assaulted by a pair of very large vegan men who didn't like that we weren't vegan. I was vego at the time but sure as hell wasn't going to tell them, people who act like that are an absolute disgrace and make me ashamed to be vegan. Veganism to me comes from a deep sense of empathy, if you can't feel empathy for other people then you're not a vegan as far as I'm concerned.
I assume this is the "small government" party doing this?
(I'm not an American)
How many more years of these news stories do I have to read before we actually do something about this?
I'm so fucking sick of this happening constantly.
Looking through the scope using the hair covered eye is a pro strat
I used to love customising the notification colour on my old phones, so good.
I miss my headphone jack so damn much, I'm over Bluetooth earbuds breaking constantly and being so damn expensive and low quality.
That's a great salary even if divided between 10,000 people.
Fuck billionaires, leeches
Gos pis girl
It's less the interview itself I'm worried about and more the coding tests most companies expect you to complete these days.
I'm a great programmer and problem solver, but a coding interview is exactly the wrong setting to demonstrate those skills because of the way they limit your tools and time. I also don't really work in a way that they're expecting, in the past I've lucked into faking it for entry level positions but I'm in a much more senior role now so the expectations are much higher. My current job never required such a test but they're basically the standard now.
