Just like the war on drugs. We locked up so many people for smoking a joint or having a speck of cocaine on them. As if these are the people who are a danger to society (most of the time).

My phone feels about the same but watchOS 10 wrecked my Apple Watch. I used to end the day at 30-40% and now it’s barely hanging on by 7pm

I am currently in the market for some wireless access points and thought I'd get some suggestions here first. I am currently using some old eero pro's as access points with a firewalla router. The firewalla isn't old and I am happy with it so I am not looking to replace it with something at this time.

Are there suggestions for more privacy focused networking equipment? Or is that just a dumb question to ask?

And expecting our government to have the knowledge to regulate is crazy. I agree with you but our current government doesn’t have the slightest clue what technology is.

I don’t know why so many are caught up on the interest rate. You shouldn’t keep a balance on your credit card and should pay it off every month. No rewards card will ever come close to a good thing if you ever pay interest on it.

It’s also 5 points per dollar when spending at Microsoft, which is 5% back and a good deal. Majority of cards are 1% base with a bonus if you shop at their store. This card is pretty standard for the industry.

It won’t be hard to find the planes these parts are associated with. Aerospace is hardcore about traceability. It’s not like people flying need to be worrying about the plane they are on.

Vehicle related forums are very much alive. It’s the best place you can go to get help with your car. I hang around on a couple different ones and it’s far better than anything I’ve seen on Reddit.

This shit has been around forever. I’ve been selling on my local classifieds for at least 15 years and these people have always been everywhere.

Wtf are you talking about? The spec has a section specifically for wiring a USB 2.0 cable. Apple is one of the companies who wrote the USB spec and I’d find it pretty hard to believe they’d go against their own spec.

Besides Musk…it’s the fact they are still using the same design from 10+ years ago. When I see a tesla, I can’t tell the difference between the S & 3 or the X & Y. They made one car and scaled it in their software. All 4 cars are due for a redesign and they don’t need to all look identical. And they need to figure out how to actually assemble them without being shit.

These companies have been doing so good lately with everyone only wanting trucks and SUV’s as there is insane markup on those types of vehicles. The companies can afford to pass along some of those profits to their workers.

I always see people say this but does no one here use professional apps like solidworks or revit? Are there good Linux alternatives? I’d switch to Linux but I need solidworks for work I do.
