List of unofficial console PC Ports with Tutorial (Re-/Decompilations)

I have created a list of all the unofficial console PC ports (that are based on Recompilation or Decompilation) I know about, along with easy-to-install versions that have been marked with a star ⭐.

Additionally, I have included short installation tutorials on how to install them. My plan is to keep this list up to date and add new finished PC ports in the future.

Wii Shop Music extension. It plays Nintendo Shop Music if you visit Shopping sites. Sadly the original is down but there is a backup on Internet Archive: https://web.archive.org/web/20230910224936/https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/wii-shop-channel/

If anyone else wants to try Pokemon Legends Arceus, Here are a few Mods i would recommend:

  1. 60 FPS Mod (Don't use the Nexus Mods one, its outdated, also this mod will double the battle speed, it's impossible to prevent this at the moment)
  2. [Comprehensive HD Character & Clothing Texture Pack ] (https://gamebanana.com/mods/357717)
  3. Xbox Icons
  4. Sky & Moon Improvement Mod
  5. [AI Upscaled Terrain Textures] (https://gamebanana.com/mods/354194)
  6. [No Terrain Reflections] (https://gamebanana.com/mods/355082) (Make sure to install AI Upscaled textures first and then overwrite the files with this one)

Important: You need to use Yuzu, the latest Version of Ryujinx won't work because you NEED to unlock 6/8GB Ram in the emulators setting's. For some reason's this won't work in Ryujinx but in Yuzu it just works fine!

Gameplay Mods Vanilla Style:

  1. Max Draw Distance for Pokemon NPCs and Trees
  2. [Max Animation Distance] (https://www.nexusmods.com/pokemonlegendsarceus/mods/3)
  3. [More Wild Pokemon] (https://www.nexusmods.com/pokemonlegendsarceus/mods/7)
  4. [Wyrdeer Remastered] (https://www.nexusmods.com/pokemonlegendsarceus/mods/31)
  5. [Shaymin and Darkrai Spawn Without Old Save Data] (https://www.nexusmods.com/pokemonlegendsarceus/mods/32)
  6. [Improved Pokemon De-Spawn Radius] (https://www.nexusmods.com/pokemonlegendsarceus/mods/30)

Alternative to all this Gameplay Mods, you could also use this Big Overhaul Mod Pokemon Legends Arceus Plus But I prefer the more vanilla style Gameplay.

The most notable changes in this version are:

  1. Support for "Sharp" video filter (better nearest interpolation at non-integer scales)

  2. MP2K HLE audio sounds even better now thanks to improved envelopes and reverb

3.Debug viewers for graphics (palettes, tiles, backgrounds, sprites) implemented

4.Improved game controller support and fixed an input dropping bug/regression

Important Info: The developer of NanoBoyAdvance will step down after the next Major release. He is searching for new Developers. For more Infos, visit this Reddit Thread

Hey... I only have 600 Steam Games and i don't remember half of them... But don't worry, I will play them, after Dragons Dogma 2 and the Elden Ring DLC of course.

Good question. I guess programming GBA Emulators is not as hard as 3DS/DS/PS1 etc. so it's probably for learning purposes. It's relatively easy and you get good results without getting frustrated to much. There are also a lot of NES and SNES emulators.

Well, if you prefer a Open Source Launcher I would recommend F-Launcher.

If you need to connect you PC and Shield without VPN/etc you can use Tailscale.

If you need to Sideload Apps you can use Downlaoder.

If you want to watch YouTube without Ads you can use SmartTube

If you want to remap your Remote you can use Button Mapper (It maybe ask you to pay "premium" but you can ignore it and everything will work fine)

If you want to change your default Launcher to something else (not Nvidia Launcher) you can use Launch Manager and a short tutorial
