My cat started doing the same thing, except he started attacking my feet which was quite painful. I picked him up and put him outside and closed the door, then went back to sleep. Mine also cried but I sleep like a rock so it doesn't bother me plus he can just go sleep with the other cat so it's not like he is lonely all night. He got the hint super quick and now it's no longer an issue.

Sorry but against what? Music, movies or Spotify?

Interesting, thank you

Koreader maybe? Calibre is intended for library / e-reader device management, the viewer it has is mostly just for a quick preview look and not really intended for actually reading.

What would the difference be between it having one user and it having a million users? I doubt they are banking on getting mad donations, there are easier ways to make money.

Mostly Snes for me. Ironically Simons quest for nes I'd actually consider a search action game, but the game was quite the outlier from the normal level based linear Castlevania games and not very popular.

The generational part might be true. The Castlevania games I grew up with were no "metroidvanias" so the name is doubly silly to me.

750 eur in 2017 is more than 900 eur in todays money. Like I said, if the phone is 1k or almost that amount, it better have insane support. And while I can't help with work phones, as those are subject to your company, if you ever need the info for a personal phone: there is nothing you can not deinstall using adb. You can uninstall anything including system apps to the point the phone can't boot anymore, so don't go too wild.

Also don't get me wrong, I hate both apple and google equally. But my cyanogenmod phone had updates from 2012 to 2019 and was 180 eur new. We need vialble linux phones sooner than later.

If I'd drop more than 1k on a phone I'd expect that thing to get updates until the sun explodes.

People calling search action games metroidvania is a big pet peeve of mine. No idea why it bothers me. Anyways hollow knight is my favorite, followed closely by silksong.

I am having an issue with my Lenovo T490 touchpad. It is very laggy and gets 'stuck' sometimes while moving the cursor around. As the touchpad worked fine with the pre installed windows 11, I don't think it's a hardware issue.

Googling the issue it was recommended to swap between libinput and synaptic drivers however either one has the issue. Mouse and track point work fine.
Is there anything else I can try to get the touchpad working?
