Well yes, that is how the law works. It's not overstepping the boundaries. If you lose a trial, the judge can order you to do it. They cannot enforce it.

The whole case is idiotic but it doesn't change the fact that a judge is within their right to order you to do things if you lose the trial. Profit or not also does not matter in this case because the trial was defaulted. They would have had to show up and argue their case, but why would they? It literally does not matter as there is no one to enforce the judgement either way.

They have not forgotten how to cope with it, they have literally just not replaced any equipment that stopped working, and also even sold what working equipment they had left. My city sold its only snow plow and now there have been multiple accidents yesterday, including a police car that slithered into a parked car. I understand nothing at this point.

I'd really like to get this car but most people have told me it's too risky for me, anyone else has any input?
I can't load at home or work, but I could load at a station accessible by foot a few minutes from my house, as well as once a week when I go shopping for about 30-45 minutes.
I only have to drive twice a week, 90km per day two days in a row, with no opportunity to load in between, but I could load the day before and the day after. People have told me it's too risky especially in winter I might not make it on that distance.

Heard this weird comment on the radio the other day: "We can't tax the rich because they are the best milk-cows in our stable." Mate if you can't get milk from a cow it's hardly the best one in your stable.

My cat started doing the same thing, except he started attacking my feet which was quite painful. I picked him up and put him outside and closed the door, then went back to sleep. Mine also cried but I sleep like a rock so it doesn't bother me plus he can just go sleep with the other cat so it's not like he is lonely all night. He got the hint super quick and now it's no longer an issue.

Sorry but against what? Music, movies or Spotify?

Interesting, thank you

Koreader maybe? Calibre is intended for library / e-reader device management, the viewer it has is mostly just for a quick preview look and not really intended for actually reading.

What would the difference be between it having one user and it having a million users? I doubt they are banking on getting mad donations, there are easier ways to make money.

I am having an issue with my Lenovo T490 touchpad. It is very laggy and gets 'stuck' sometimes while moving the cursor around. As the touchpad worked fine with the pre installed windows 11, I don't think it's a hardware issue.

Googling the issue it was recommended to swap between libinput and synaptic drivers however either one has the issue. Mouse and track point work fine.
Is there anything else I can try to get the touchpad working?
