Contender for main fork.

It's hard to search for this problem and find any relevant results. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Issue:

Computer behaves normally until I turn my TV off. The computer is hooked to an Audio/Video Receiver via HDMI. I use a Geforce 4070ti, RPM Fusion drivers following the wiki guide.

When I turn the TV off nothing happens for a few seconds until the receiver detects that the TV is off. Then I hear the KDE login/logout jingle repeatedly with their SFX overlapping/garbled. I hear this because I'm using Digital Optical output for audio from the PC, and the receiver is left on.

Next when I go to turn the TV back on, I get no signal, but the computer isn't crashed or anything, just no video signal.

  • This is on a fresh install of Fedora 41 KDE Spin, fully updated.

  • I've tried disabling sleep, disabling the lock screen, disabling screen dimming, blanking, all their timers, set power profile to performance. None of this made any difference.

Eh, may as well start convincing the boys. There's no way Discord doesn't just get worse from here.

Yeah that makes sense.

A novel concept in this day and age, apparently.

Nice to hear* little stories of success too.

That always helps relations.

I hope people like my lovingly slapped together banners!

I've completed Files 1 and 2 on Hard with 3 other friends with zero issues. What a blast. Be sure to follow the hard drive installation guides. Load times are nearly eliminated vs DVD load times, even emulated.

I wish I could sticky comments.

Shoot the shit, no theme thread.

"Patch for the PlayStation 1 game The Adventure of Little Ralph. Translates all text other than the credits into English. No graphical edits have been made, but most are in English anyway so the game is fully playable and the plot can be fully understood.

Use the redump patch if you have a redump version of the game (Rev 1), the other patch otherwise.

"It's time for us to again delve into the latest changes hitting the newest release of Dolphin Emulator. If you've been keeping tabs on development channels, you'll know there are some exciting bombshell features waiting for us just over the horizon. Unfortunately, given the close proximity to this release, we've decided to hold a lot of them off so they can get more widespread testing in the development builds before hitting a release. Think of the March 2025 release as an iterative improvement that focuses on user experience and stacking many small iterative improvements instead of swinging for every homerun.

Having said all of that? We do have a few major changes that made the cut."

"MAME 0.275 is out now! It’s been a short month, but there’s still been plenty of interesting development. This release adds support for several arcade games on PlayStation-based hardware, a few PowerBook Duo sub-notebook computers, some hand-held LCD games, and a couple of Casio music keyboards.

Support for the Zorro II bus used in the Amiga 2000 has been improved, including DMA support and a few more emulated cards. Some graphical glitches in Konami arcade games have been fixed. The Oberheim DMX drum machine is now fully emulated. We’ve even optimised the recompilers a little more this month.

You can read about all the work that’s gone into this release in the whatsnew.txt file, or get source code and 64-bit Windows binary packages from the download page."

NDP wasn't interested last I saw them asked about election reform.

I think some guy on reddit told me this was the best Canadian instance. Glad I'm here, they were right.

The Dude abides.

Basically like she said, you both have to happen to be horny in the moment anyways or it's just a shit time. Use a safeword to stop when not into it, instead of actually saying stop. It's usually just a roleplay fetish anyways.

I'm Canadian, I hope they do...
