I'm a little out of the loop, but a few years ago a lot of ex-corp stuff tended to get dumped on Gray's. Might be worth a look but I have no idea how enshittified it is these days.

Fortification can be used to manipulate some health rating systems. I don't know what system Canada uses, but Health Star is particularly vulnerable to this. Basically you can make a product that's high in fat / salt / sugar look better than it is by adding vitamins. So it makes some kind of sense to restrict fortification to certain classes of foods.
Total nothingburger. BioBank is a research dataset used for cohort studies. There's about 500k volunteers who contributed some genetic material, demographic and lifestyle information, anthropometrics and physiological measurements. It's mostly used to discern possible genetic and lifestyle factors for chronic disease. It's not like they're getting access to the whole NHS database and stealing DNA to build supersoldiers.

I rewatched this recently, and yeah. You do kinda just have to accept it as a product of its time. The language is incredibly dated, but if you can get past that it mostly still holds up IMO.
