Winning was secondary to setting up a nice grift...
Taking over the RNC to siphon money off for legal bill instead of using those resources for down ballot races.
One would think that Donnie could get someone to post his bond with a lean against his truth social windfall.
Letting NY seize a few properties is good theater.

Every state overtly chose at inception Rule of law
Not Rule by Force

Ever since then RbF guy have been trying to add in exceptions to legitimize the use of force
Adding complications to leave room for interpretation of rules/laws is a classic good ol boy scheme, great for the guild of lawyers :D The ends never justify the means
There can be the rare situation where force has to be met with force, it's the unnecessary use/escalation where it goes wrong

Except the part where we get the occasionally get to make a binary choice of which candidate sucks the least between a fascist & a neolib corporate shill .
The rules & who gets to write/enforce them determine the winners.
The donor class decides who the candidates are, money being speech & all We outsourced the a big chunk of the election process to the parties to avoid raising taxes to pay for elections.
The thought was the party fanatics would work for free.
No one ever works for free. The pay is influence, future consideration for decisions...
