I'd remind them that, in the US, most senior citizens go through all their savings until they have almost nothing and the government can sometimes help them survive until they die or other family helps pay for their end of life care. Even if someone seems well off doesn't mean they will be able to support anyone else past their end of life. The US economy is set up to drain people's money. Your child will still likely need to work, especially if they want government assistance in their older years themselves (which they will need if they aren't planning on being able to make enough to support themselves).

Yes, but that's not the reason why

I honestly kinda appreciate it. It's nice to be reminded that there is some place for acceptance, even if only for capitalism, and it does seem to spread further through society than other months. It still sucks that there are also people who loudly state that it's intrusive into their normal cis-het-white-male centered universe.

I never stole it and it was pretty decent when it got to me. My sibling may have already had it on hand and just given it to me.

If you are an introvert, ask your extroverted sibling to pick and dry some from their friend's parent's plants. Then go to the park and smoke it after school. Keep it with a pipe and grinder in a water tight no-spill thermos (keeps smell in and keeps it fresh).

I'm not sure what kind of infidelity happens in high school, but I suspect if someone cheated on me by kissing someone else while we were in high school, I wouldn't be upset, mostly because the nature of relationships in high school I don't think of as long lasting. I've never cheated nor been cheated on though.

Pretty much everything we do affects others, that's unavailable. But you were 6. You weren't old enough/mature enough to grasp the full concept of what you were doing, otherwise your wouldn't have done it. It's wonderful that you have become such a considerate and conscientious person, but please stop torturing yourself.

Women leading women?

"oh well that's just not what I believe" -anything against their alternative facts

I have chickens, who create quite a bit of poop I can use to grow mushrooms, but I'm not sure how to pasteurize/sanitize it. I was thinking pressure cooker?

I ordered some spore syringes and I'm not sure if i should get premade bags with injection ports or if I should make my own bags. It's the same cost to buy bags and a used instant pot, and I already have coco coir. Once I get some mushroom colonies going I was planning on keeping it going by breaking it up and mixing it with fresh substrate, but I don't want to keep buying pasteurized manure.

How do people do this? I'm very new

I have a lot of dry clay I have saved to reuse. Most of it is in smaller pieces, I'm working my way to making it into powder. I'm thinking of getting a rock tumbler to make small batches of powder since most of the pieces are pretty small anyway.

Currently, i put the powder and sometimes granules into a bucket and pour white vinegar and very hot water over it, sometimes mixing immediately sometimes waiting for it to cool. I always let it rehydrate for at least a few days before drying on a plaster board.

Currently I mix the clay by folding and flattening, as this is easier than wedging for me. I'll wedge smaller pieces, but for these larger ones I'll pop the air bubbles and smooth it out. So far it's been ok but I'll sometimes have a bubble I missed until I am nearly done shaping on the wheel.

Does anyone have suggestions for how to decrease the air bubbles trapped from rehydrating? Would a vibrating paint mixer work?
