It's a bit of an edge case but spiritually I think it fits. Because initially Dale Cooper is more of the trope of the outsider cop who comes into a place where things are unfamiliar and not what they seem on the surface, as opposed to the police officer working their normal job and then things get weird. But then he also stays and become local law enforcement and the weird stuff is certainly above his paygrade.

Even if true that's 0.000011% of their population.

Throwing off a weighted hoodie, "by boymode-ing I was hiding my power level"

Thanks I'll probably stick to betting on things like elections then.

Okay that's tough. And shit that it happened.

Again depends on your circumstances but might be worth investigating what the ramifications would be if you knew, so that if you find out later or you feel you want to warn the classs against further events etc(that also you need to weigh pros and cons).

My initial response was ironically "Jesus Christ" out loud.

I don't know your country, state, circumstances etc, but is there anyway they can be made not your student? Moved to a different class, dropped out of said class, or at least some sort of ramification?

ACAB but I love a small town cop discovering a vast conspiracy way above their paygrade.

Outer Ranges, Fargo Film/TV series, Stranger things, there's more etc

I've started watching the Bondsman (which is so so) but we've got a black female sheriff who has immediately pick up that something strange is happening. Though I'm not optimistic she will solve it as she's minor character probably destined to be killed, it's still nice to see this.

One thing about time travelling that I always get stuck on is say I went back in time 1 week ago and bought the winning lottery ticket would those numbers still remain the winning numbers? Hypothetically right?

I guess if they did that means the time line is fixed and I had always travelled back in time, if they change it means my new presence in the past means I disrupted enough minor things that the timing on drawing the numbers was slightly off. Something that is "random" like that is more variable to change, compared to like an election or a sporting game.

Edit: I guess though my proximity to the lottery and how much time passes also needs to be taken into account, like a lottery in the USA isn't necessay going to change in an hour due to my sudden new apperance but one in 2 months probably will.

Critical support means your support does 2.5x damage

sorry but sometimes bad people make statements about the world and events that are accurate to reality??

In particular guys like Putin, Lukashenko, (and funnily enough Orban) having come up through a communist party in their youth and being taught dialectical and historical materialism, will often very accurately outline the material factors leading to current events in speeches or interview, it's at the last moment where they pivot and say something self-serving and reactionary.
