Goddamn I love how your stomach looks in this

I don't think The Sopranos forces or begs the audience to sympathize with literal mobsters and criminals. At least I didn't (all the time), although Johnny Sack is probably my favorite character. He just loves his wife so much, he literally doesn't even look at other women twice. But God help you if he thinks you made a comment or joke about her.

My second favorite is probably Ralph Cifaretto, played by Joe Pantoliano. He's just shitty and smarmy in every single scene he's in and plays it phenomenally.

I recently started watching The Sopranos for the first time last year, and damn is it good. Some episodes are slow sure, but a lot of them are absolutely packed with story. So much so, I needed to take a couple minutes to process what I had just watched.

Also, there's a very intense, pretty powerful scene like right in the middle of season 3 that kinda changes the entire dynamic of the show.

Yeah, The Office hasn't really aged well, but it is what kick-started so many of those actors' careers. Like Steve Carrell, John Krasinski, Ed Helms, Rainn Wilson, etc. I think that's part of why so many people like it. That and nostalgia.

I will say Parks & Rec is probably way better in terms of how characters are, and their growth. Like Aubrey Plaza starts out as an annoying bitch but as the show progresses, she learns to be more open about her feelings and such.

I've never seen The Bear. I want to watch The Bear, but at the same time I don't want to watch it. I used to work in food service when it first came out and had a few coworkers recommend it, but I told them then that I probably couldn't handle it cause it would send my anxiety skyrocketing.

And they said "yeah, but it's SO good!"

I understand this is a tragedy and horrible situation for most everyone involved, but I can't help but feel like it's only slightly politically motivated for the FBI to be investigating this instance, as opposed to literally any other incident of domestic terrorism that's happened in the last 10 or so years.

Maybe I'm just a little paranoid. Idk.

Dale blows up Hank's shed as tribute for Cotton iirc

That seems cool. Why not offer them a job after?

I still get choked up over Kevin Conroy (THE Batman voice from like 1990-2022 when he died, and even a few things after), but I don't think I actually cried about it.

Same with Chance Perdomo who was Ambrose from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and Andre from Gen V. He just had a presence and charisma to him that I really liked. Also Anton Yelchin.

Ah, so that's why the FBI is going in now, instead of literally any other time this has happened in the past 8-10 years (at least)

For some reason, I can't even appreciate playing in a dept (I play on apprentice). The enemies still take like 20 arrows, and that's using Daedric gear with an archery level of 60-ish.

I once tried to fight a wisp on adept with my maxed magic skills and it still almost killed me in like 5 seconds.

I was just wondering everyone's favorite level(s) were/are. You can explain why you like it, or you can just name drop the level you like most.

Mine are probably:

  1. Assault on The Control Room, I love the big epic set pieces of the level, and it has probably the best/most "examples" of what Halo is as a game than any other in CE. You have big weapons, vehicles, large open battles, and awesome music.

  2. Delta Halo from Halo 2. I love the lush jungle setting and going through the underwater elevator is always fun. Plus I love just beating the hell out of Truth.

  3. Halo, from Halo 3. Like Assault on The Control Room, this level has it all

So I've been playing through all the Arkham games lately, and I had an interesting thought about the whole Arkhamverse as a storyline.

I think the entire game series is based (loosely) on The Killing Joke story, with other major events, references, and storylines lifted from other Batman comics. I just think TKJ was used as a basis for the games' world.

We see Joker's beginning with his flashback at the end of Arkham Origins, which is almost identical to his TKJ origin, as well as him crippling Barbara in that flashback during Arkham Knight (right down to the clothes he's wearing). The overall dark tone of the games lend to this theory, as well as Joker being shown just how sadistic he can be.

What do you think?

If it's at all possible. I just find it kind of annoying to have to scroll through super long posts just to get to the comments. Review threads for newly released games in some of the gaming communities are what prompted this idea lol.

Edit: what the hell is going on with that account that keeps spamming nonsense?

So I like to use Xbox controllers (doesn't matter if it's first- or third-party) because I like the layout, it's just comfortable to me. However I've noticed that on all my controllers in the past few years, the left thumb stick will start to "give out" over the course of a couple months. For instance I'll be pushing it forward all the way, but it won't register for some reason and my character will only move a little bit. Sometimes wiggling it a bit will fix it, sometimes it doesn't. And it's not like I'm squeezing the hell out of the controller or mashing the stick constantly; in fact it's made me try to be more delicate with my controllers, even though I'm just playing the games normally.

Is it just how controllers are, or am I just getting the shit end of the stick?

Like, I travel around for work and I've met plenty of people from all backgrounds.

Why is there a demographic of people who don't seemingly bathe regularly, or at the very least wear something to cover up their BO? I could understand if it's an allergy, or even religious reasons (though the people I've met that smell bad are usually you're average American young adult man) but recently (like in the past week, recently) I've met a concerning number of people who don't seem to wear any kind of deodorant or possibly don't even bathe regularly; it's starting to become an issue for me, as I don't even want to interact with them when I can smell them walking up from 3+ feet away yet I need to for work.

Does anyone have any possible insight?
