Feels like a font issue. Do you have e.g. nerdfont installed and in use in your terminal? You could check the config for plugins that makes that style, and check which fonts are in use. Could also be powerline fonts that are needed: https://github.com/powerline/fonts

Drove past a guy on the highway, driving 100kph, wondered why he first drove so slow, then sped up, then slowed again... He was reading a book while driving 🤦‍♂️ One other guy, driving 80kph hardly could keep the truck on his own lane, so I drove past him. Joku mainitsi toisessa keskustelussa LORDin, josta tuli sellanen fläsäri takasin 90-luvulle et huh! Se on sellainen peli jota tuli hakattua ihan helvetisti. Death Rally tuo myös paljon hyvä muistoja mieleen. Tsekkasin tänä päivänä miltä se peli näyttää... Ei vastannut ihan muistoja 😅 se oli silloin ihan sikahiano!

Itse olin lähinnä vain seuraajana Redditissä, enkä juurikaan kommentoinut mihinkään saati sitten avannut keskusteluja. Koko Redditin touhu meni kyllä niin överiksi, että siihen meni maku aivan täysin. Vaikka täällä sopulissa on vielä aika vähän käyttäjiä, ja keskustelujen määrä ei ole samalla tasolla kuin Redditissä, niin uskon kuitenkin fediverseen ja sen voimaan hyvänä vaihtoehtona Evil Corp. firmoille. Tätä kautta olen löytänyt yllättävän paljon avoimia, fediverseen pohjautuvia alustoja. Aikamoinen kaninkolo kyllä, täytyy myöntää! Kyllä tämä vielä tästä!

One question for the admin; I see an instance hasn't been federated with sopuli (it's not blocked either), what should be done to be able to subscribe to the unfederated instance communities? I just get community_not_found error when trying to access the community URL via sopuli.xyz. Search doesn't find it either.

Was always just lurking on Reddit, maybe had one comment or so. For some reason, when moving over here, I've been enjoying this so much, I'm no longer just a lurker.

Using Connect because Jerboa just kept crashing on me at startup. Never got to test it out. Problems do exist in Connect, as e.g. I could not comment on this post in the app. Will check out Thunder and Lift off as well, so thanks for the suggestions!

Edit: I literally just found out that you have to hit the huge plus-button at the bottom right to add a comment.. I always thought it was for creating a new post 🤦‍♂️
