Sir, every professional developer knows there's never time and people to maintain the testing environment so testing is done in production! That testing environment you're dreaming of is missed shareholder value.

Buddy, everyone I know exit the market at the end of January. Some are riding the downtrend with SQQQ as we speak. And these aren't professional traders with insider knowledge of when Trump would flip or flop. Those who have it have made a killing and would make yet more.

You're not looking to retire.

Did you find out how thick it is?

For your second node, since you're gonna get a second node, get something with replaceable antenna. There's a huge difference in signal between the small stock antennae and something like this.

And sometimes those beavers are on PornHub.

I guess it would be nice if you supplanted that by economic policy, wouldn't it.

Reading this quote from wiki:

After the XX Congress, in an ultra-narrow circle of our closest friends and associates, we often discussed the problems of democratization of the country and society. We chose a simple – like a sledgehammer – method of propagating the "ideas" of late Lenin. A group of true, not imaginary reformers developed (of course, orally) the following plan: to strike with the authority of Lenin at Stalin, at Stalinism. And then, if successful, – to strike with Plekhanov and Social Democracy – at Lenin, and then – with liberalism and "moral socialism" – at revolutionarism in general .... The Soviet totalitarian regime could be destroyed only through glasnost and totalitarian party discipline, while hiding behind the interests of improving socialism. [...] Looking back, I can proudly say that a clever, but very simple tactic – the mechanisms of totalitarianism against the system of totalitarianism – has worked.

Especially this part - "and then – with liberalism and 'moral socialism' – at revolutionarism in general" - it makes it sound like at least this guy (Yakovlev) wanted to move away from economic socialism altogether. Am I reading this right? Is it taken out of some context in which it has a different meaning? I'm asking in case you've read more about the topic. If you haven't, that's alright.

I read the wiki page on Perestroika. Am I understanding correctly that the people who pushed it, at least some, wanted to move the union to social democracy?

Goddamn oof.

That's the standard - listing the raw cell Ah - and it always has been dodgy. I guess in this context ironically it seems more dodgy because they also list the effective capacity. :D

Well this is interesting. Stick-a-node to any smartphone with magnetic back. I could see myself trying this.

She said her lecture was going to discuss humanitarian aid in a time of crises as well as the challenges aid workers have faced in Gaza and other war zones.

“[I was told] that discussing the USAID cuts could be perceived as an anti-governmental narrative,” Liu told Global in an interview on Friday. She added that NYU, her alma mater, also said her lecture risked being perceived as antisemitic.
