This can absolutely also happen in a place like Germany. Yes, no one really has a truck for personal use (or rather a box truck), but you know a guy who knows a guy that has a truck for his business and doesn't need it on the weekend, et voila. Maybe it's not that extreme, but especially for 'poorer' working class people, helping out is still essential even in Germany.

I dunno. Probably lots of lead poisoning, micro plastics crossing the blood-brain-barrier, other harmful stuff in our city-atmospheres and of course social media (for "old" folks facebook, for young people Instagram and tiktok). All of has fried our collective brains and tendencies for what you described increase because of it. But maybe that's just an excuse to ascribe what's wrong with people to something external.

Is this the same all around the world? I can't fathom this would be ok from a workers rights perspective in Europe. But thanks for the insight!

How are they not starting to get paid when they get to "work" (the airport) and do all the things prior to even passengers getting on board?

Recently got back to it after 2 years and I'm still enjoying it very much. The empire must grow and down with the Xenon! lol It's definitely not for everyone, but there is an aspect of the game for almost everyone. It could use a proper main story for beginners, but honestly flying around on a spaceship is just awesome. And the studio is actually one of the older independent studios, with their own graphics engine and a small but very dedicated staff.

Well that exists! Sure not quite officially, but look up project 4K77, you can download that version of Star wars right now (and it's awesome. I've watched all three of them in their most original version)

Could be residual energy generation from the few operating concentrated solar power stations (generating great by reflecting sunlight and that heat persists for a time)
