It's unclear why the council — which did not respond to an interview request — thinks the other provinces have something to do with the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation.

What is crystal clear is that these twats should have no influence whatsoever on how alcohol is priced in our country. #buyCanadian

Oh yes, they're definitely a spectacle to enjoy through your own eyes rather than a lens.

I'd say that's a pretty decent photo still, and that's much more accurate in how they actually look.

Intruleder?

Longer exposure is the trick, and framing the shot away from other light sources. The camera doesn't really matter, as long as you can manually adjust things (try pro mode on a phone), and have it mounted on something that won't shake during the exposure.

With that, aurora photos very often aren't as they would appear to the eye because of that long exposure. They can still get reasonably bright though.

Benn Jordan did a recent video on his...explorations of Flock cameras. Essentially, they're easily hackable and really should be an urgent matter of national security.

Shoutout to Kagi, where good search is the only thing you get.

They aren't losing anything, just as the military doesn't lose money, nor the healthcare system. It is a public service.

Just blame immigrants for the problem, they'll let those comments stay for sure.

You can request that you not receive unaddressed mail, it's quite nice not having a mailbox stuffed with garbage.

Just because you may not use a postal service much doesn't mean others don't. It's really the only option for those without mobile devices, computers, or internet access. Dismantling or privatizing the postal service would have a significant negative impact on seniors, elderly, and rural and remote communities.

Treating public services like a business needs to end. Sure you can call it a crown "corporation", but its purpose is to serve citizens in a defined way, not to make a profit.

If the postal service is subject to this scrutiny, why not the military as well?

I'd say it's highly likely that archivists/data hoarders pulled all available photos at time of release. They'll exist somewhere.

“now you’re locked in, let the gouging begin”

Essentially the definition of enshittification.
