The thing my mother is eating in the picture is exactly what you described (the bread is on the table). I called it salad dressing as a synonym for the vinegar and oil "sauce", since some herbs are in there as well.

Lumpensuppe is something different here. Its basically goulash soup with either sauerkraut or bacon and cream and bell pepper.

My german parents tend to eat sausage with pickles and onions. Tell me where you are from and i tell you which of your typical national food is gross.

Edit: i did not downvote you btw, i find the food to be probably as gross as you do

dinosaurs were all kinds of -blooded, but t-rex was probably fully warm blooded, like birds. Other, especially "older" ones were cold blooded.

Very interesting. Were T-Rex really warm blooded, i thought that was a trait dinosaurs did not have at all and an advantage e.g. mammals had, allowing us to adapt better to the shifting climate?
