Agreed. It doesn't make much sense to have nukes before the flagpole dick-waving contest. If you do that, there's no more anything left, so no flagpoles for contests. Much more practical to hold the contest first, and have the nukes after that.

I was using them to take apart monitor arms, cut boxes, etc.

... disassemble the corporate helicopter fleet, clean the salmon & beef steaks for the team's BBQ lunch, tighten the bolts on the hatchway to the HVAC-access roof, recalibrate our GPS markers for the DST changeover... just the usual.

Guess he didn't hear the "Cheese it!" warning in time.

I had the same complaint/confusion, thankfully elucidated by others' earlier replies.

I conclude that this ABC journalist, Meredith Deliso, is simply incompetent and ill-suited to her profession, lacking talent and verve for clarity of expression. Fuckin' typical.

Please provide a synopsis of what the link presents. When you throw up a youtube link, we don't know what we're getting until we get it.

I too like silence, then music, when the album I'm listening to intended to have a break between songs.

However, if the songs' tracks are meant to fade from one to the next without a break, it's annoying and distracting if I can hear a silence between them, however small -- even just a click -- then music.

I have tried 4 times to download the Windows .zip from https://blenderstudio.itch.io/dogwalk. Three attempts failed around the 90% downloaded point, and once around 25-30%. Guess I won't be seeing this game.

Yes, in Canada

This is the most nonpareil reply for which one could hope to the question, "does it exist elsewhere?"

Perfect subversion of expectation. Comedic precision.

"Patting" works better than "trotting" and matches closer to the rhyme scheme of the original.

Horses trot. Cats pat. Anna isn't very good at this.

Who did make it? What is its source?

If I hadn't taken the photo myself, I mightn't believe it to be true.

As it decayed, the bit of cream in this cup's last sip of coffee had some life to yet support, and spawned an hilarious caricature.

This was left in an out-of-the way corner of a kitchen I worked at a few years ago. Genuinely impressed by nature's ways, my first comment was, "Hey guys, check it out, this goop looks like Cartman."

Tactfully I withheld my second comment, an inquiry: "Why couldn't whichever one of you thoughtless degenerate stoners that left it there a week ago just've thrown it out?"

Mould moves in mysterious ways, its wonders to perform. It performs at quick-time in a restaurant kitchen, and I'll never work in one again, so help me God.

It may be old-fashioned of me, but I like to be able to trust that of all the rooms in an accommodation I may consider inhabiting, my prospective bedroom will be the most intact of review and upstanding of reputation.
