If it wasn't for locked devices and proprietary drivers, it would be a nice experience, very close to linux.

I'm new to the fediverse, and so far, I have been seeing some situations from lemmy instances rejecting users to defederating from others, but I ask myself: what can be done if trolls or bots come from self-hosted single-user instances?

It's not the services that are dying, but the internet as we used to know.

Change is natural, but the services are all changing in a way not beneficial forthe users.

Redreader user here too. I find it incredible how it's hardly mentioned when people talk about unofficial reddit apps. It's perhaps the one that maximizes having lots of functions, being lightweight, and being easy to use.
