She has Jewish ancestry, but she's said she does not practice religion.

I think tools like YaST help to save time, instead of editing the bootloader in config files, you can simply enter, search for "Boot Loader" and edit there, be following a tutorial or official documentation. I sometimes prefer to use YaST just so I don't do things wrong. it's like the old Control Panel in Windows.

That's why I only use Perplexity. ChatGPT can't give me sources unless I pay, so I can't trust information it gives me and it also hallucinated a lot when coding, it was faster to search in the official documentation rather than correcting and debugging code "generated" by ChatGPT.

I use Perplexity + SearXNG, so I can search a lot faster, cite sources and it also makes summaries of your search, so it saves me time while writing introductions and so.

It sometimes hallucinates too and cites weird sources, but it's faster for me to correct and search for better sources given the context and more ideas. In summary, when/if you're correcting the prompts and searching apart from Perplexity, you already have something useful.

BTW, I try not to use it a lot, but it's way better for my workflow.

Yeah, sure. I guess I must not complain as it's clearly not possible to know the prices even if I don't buy or save up some money to buy every now and then.

Where I live, processed stuff is usually more expensive because it isn't sold in most stores, so I have to travel a little far or order online in vegan stores (plus shipping). Also vegan restaurants are far or more expensive, but I've seen more non-vegan restaurants add vegetarian/vegan options :)

It is a metasearch engine, so you can tweak the sources of the results, default language, etc. I personally use all the default plus some more engines and all languages, then reduce results if I can't find useful information. It has made searches easier for me, since you can find all types of information with just one click (Search | Images | Files | Academic | etc.) and multiple languages, but it can be not so welcoming to people that want simple searches.

Syncing files that you may open in both (or more) devices at the same time is unsafe with any service, but you can manage to avoid sync conflicts with KeePass if you do not open the same file at the same time or open the Android app in read-only mode. I've only had like 3-4 conflict files this year and they weren't important.

I second this. I've been using it for months, compilation may seem complicated, but you just prepare your environment once and you aren't bothered again. You can ask for support if you find problems, and you can easily modify and backup your configuration for future uses or just in case :)

Lol, that used to happen to me a lot when I used Windows. I resized my Linux partition and rarely return, I only have the basics installed because of some uni projects that might require Windows software and it still manages to bug while updating or opening Teams

They added support for longer videos and the algorithm works better than YouTube in my case. I have a feed of recent videos from the people I follow rather than old, new, sponsored and/or recommended videos that YouTube shows even in my subscriptions feed. The main problem I see is minors having access to TikTok (and social media in general), and TikTok should pay attention to this. I still agree with you, but I won't deny how digestible TikTok has made a lof of information that would, otherwise, be lost and that I can share with my friends easier that sharing a YouTube link and everyone ignoring it.

Just before the API drama, the instance r/Mexico started censoring insults to politicians and mostly to the president. They started trying to monetize something (I'm not sure how) and they didn't want people screwing things up. They started censoring a lot of content and I abandoned that subreddit. The alternative was a trash place, with racism and general LGBTfobia. Then the API drama started and I just left.

I like Mastodon a lot. i feel like people talk more about themselves and express their opinions freely, even me.

It's like a cozy (?) place. I feel comfortable and I surrounded by different opinions, but in a relaxing way, actually communicating and talking.
