I have to post this again, don't I...

The Internet:

The last "nice"/"fancy" fridge my spouse and I bought was a Samsung. It didn't have a screen because those weren't a thing at the time. But it had the fancy in door ice and water dispenser, freezer on the bottom, double doors on the fridge portion, LED lighting, you get the picture. Anyway, it was something like $2500 on sale.

That fucking fridge never fucking worked right. Had to defrost it manually every couple of months. We made warranty claims on it, had Samsung techs come out and replace the coils, the fan, the control board, the defrost heating element, you name it. Still, like clockwork, the fucking coils would freeze in the back of the refrigerator portion. And we'd have to take all the food out, lay out a bunch of towels, and get a hair dryer and melt all the ice again.

Finally I had enough. My spouse had enough. We went and bought a no frills, no ice maker, freezer on top LG for $700. And have had no problems in the five years since. All that to say, fuck the fancy appliances with Internet access/etc. If you can't make a refrigerator that is able to stay cold without external intervention, then don't make fridges...

Mysterious Cities of Gold intensifies....

Ooo that sounds cool! I mean, are these the best games ever made? No. But I dunno, they are fun, especially when you are waiting for something (I have bejeweled on my phone), like a train or for an appointment where you don't exactly know how long you have to wait.

This is my main thing as well. Always telling the truth. Even when the consequences of telling the truth reflect poorly on a choice or decision I made. ❤️

I have bejeweled installed, that I paid for no ads. And I still play it. My partner has the original plants vs. zombies that she paid for with no ads and still plays that too.

So, yes?

Preferably, yes.

I would let Mimi live with me. Every house needs a gremlin.

Wow, that's really fucking gross.

I'm fairly sure the US president can't just unilaterally declare war....

But then what the fuck even matters any more. Say the L in salmon.

Optionally, what would you have wanted to know before you bought one?

Thanks!

Edit: Hey, thank you all very very much for your comments and suggestions, I really appreciate. I will most likely save up more and get the 1TB OLED model rather than the LCD model I was initially planning on. A couple of reasons for that, one, I am not good with electronics and I'd probably screw something up putting a new storage drive in. And two this thing will most likely be a permanent replacement for my old gaming laptop, which at this point is more than 10 years old, and seems to be on its last legs (I installed Linux on it, which was a struggle, but that is probably on me rather than Linux or the computer being at fault).

Anyway, I appreciate everyone's responses and thanks for helping a gal out!
