I'd like to get back into playing video games, but I don't want to have to sign up for an online service like Steam or Ubisoft Connect.

I love technical sandbox games like Scrap Mechanic, especially if they have a "creative mode" that allows me to just make stuff.

Don't go. And if your son doesn't know why you two divorced, tell him.

I’ve been using DuckDuckGo for years now but am becoming increasingly interested in Ecosia and Ekoru for their environmentalist efforts. I’ve read the privacy policies for both, and it seems they both share user data with Bing. However, if I use a VPN, set my user data to something generic like Chrome on Windows, and whitelist the search engine on my adblocker, I should be able to support them by viewing ads without being tracked by Microsoft. Is that worth it, or do you have another recommendation?

This sounds cliche but parks/public playgrounds are lovely. I live near one and spend much of my downtime drawing, writing, or doomscrolling at it. They often aren’t too loud if you don’t live in a big city, and I love hearing kids play in the distance behind me. Occasionally, you might even have a nice conversation with a stranger.

I’m an earl grey with honey man, but if I’m being honest, I’ve never really tried much else.

Throughout my time using Lemmy, I have learned about the populations of a bunch of different instances and have made accounts on several different ones based on what I find. However, I’m about to make a Matrix account and this is a whole new ball game. Which server should I choose/avoid making my account on? Does it really matter as much as it does on Lemmy?

Oh my gosh, hi! I instantly recognized your work from !artshare@lemmy.world! It’s fun to see the same people around in different communities. I’m not sure how much you browse, but you may have seen my pen and paper sketches that were posted on an old account.

Anyways, they look fantastic! I always used to wonder if your works were for an organized setting because they seemed pretty consistent. You will definitely continue to receive my upvotes.
