i think you have a good start

if you want some feedback

~~try to be more abstract, i understand what you're going through but it's needs to be more something outside so only a repeat reading makes the story~~

I can dream up schemes when I'm sitting in my seat
I don't see any flaws 'til I get to my feet
I wish I never woke up this morning
Life was easy when it was boring

I could make a mark, it weren't so dark
I could be replaced by any bright spark
But darkness makes me fumble
For a key to a door that's wide open

Instead of worrying about my clothes
I could be someone that nobody knows
I wish I never woke up this morning
Life was easy when it was boring

I can dream up schemes when I'm sitting in my seat
I don't see any flaws 'til I get to my feet
I wish I never woke up this morning
Life was easy when it was boring

I wish I never woke up this morning
Life was easy when it was boring

there is a lot of native bamboo in all places, so it is resilient and a lot of the times the other stuff can only catch on if its provided a space. it can then go invasive... but thats not what youre talking about

i think a lot of it is just aesthetics and that people don't like bamboo

I just traveled internationally and 100% you are correct

some instances or communities will flat out ban you for almost nothing, just accept that there are bad actors participating in lemmy and don't worry about blocking instances or users when you see it happening

after a bit you wont notice them and you will be better off for it

I got my mother in law on Mint linux a couple years ago, it never gives her any problems. It is the way to go with the seniors

I am a system admin and have to run a ton of Windows servers, I feel it. If you don't keep up on the patch notes shit can get bad without even realizing it. I hate Windows for all the crap that is layered on it but it wouldn't be so bad if Microsoft didn't change shit just to change it and move stuff around without a good reason. The forcing of things is what really makes me upset. IDK about your AI shit Microsoft! ITS NOT HELPING

The Comfort of False Equivalence
There’s a seductive kind of cowardice masquerading as wisdom in modern discourse: the insistence that all extremes are created equal. It’s what allows the centrist to shrug and say, “Well, both sides are dangerous,” as though morality and method exist on a balanced scale, and history is simply a record of shared mistakes. For MAGA, this rhetorical laziness isn’t just useful. It’s strategic.

I love the picture of the customer service lady
