Maybe cheating a bit but there are several genres of games that are named after the games that popularized their mechanics such as roguelike/roguelite, souls-like, metroidvania

No idea what resource you're citing but mag citrate is used to treat constipation... It will give you diarrhea, it is a horrible source of dietary magnesium

This article might be a bit late? Other news media saying the decision has been reversed already

Have you played the game? While true, you can boil down the game to "you deliver packages" there's a lot more to it. There's planning your equipment and weight distribution, evaluating the best route and adapting when something unexpected shows up, the give and take of the social strand system, etc.

It's for sure not a game for everyone and I don't begrudge anyone who says they don't enjoy it but the one liner that pretty much everyone boils it down to does a disservice when describing how much is actually involved

Interesting interview where they touch on different topics like weapon power creep, debunk that strand was meant to drop with Witch Queen, the new light supers, changing the content model to episodes, and future of PvP. It's sort of a follow up to Joe's video he released in response to the recent state of the game and this interview has the context in case anyone's missed the recent drama

Not major but le mon is getting a decrease in poison duration which will allow PvE enemies to regen shields faster and make the intrinsic overload a bit less effective. Also, chill clip nerf which is unfortunate but understandable for riptide (and others like bump in the night)

I get everyone's sentiment here, boiling it down to "better games are better" but also keep in mind the development costs and times for making new games are constantly going up. Yeah of course there are fantastic indie games out there (and I love them myself) that have a fraction of AAA game budgets and dev time but those are the gems in the rough, not the norm.

I'm all for better gaming experiences but they do come with tradeoffs. Also, flops are now death sentences for studios so the pressure to perform is even higher

A bit pricier than the other options listed in this thread but I'm really happy with my glasses from warby Parker. I like having an in person store to try on frames and the customer service is pretty great

Interesting speculation but wish there was a bit more information in the article. For anyone interested, this particular species of candida is considered highly dangerous because it is resistant to most of the antifungal medications we currently use

Guilty pleasure one for me is burn notice. It's so over the top but so much style and coolness

Genuinely asking, do you think the "profiting off of users in predatory practices" that ABK does now will change unde Microsoft? I'm conflicted on the acquisition but I would be highly surprised if that is something Microsoft changes.

Personally, yeah, I would like the status quo to remain because as shitty as ABK is, I can make the choice not to support their practices by not buying or playing their games. Yes, I realize that by being acquired by Microsoft doesn't somehow allow them to put a gun to my head to play their games but it does discourage competition now that they are under the same umbrella.
