There are terrible people everywhere and in particular everywhere online.

This is why I would never be bothered moderating and I am reluctant to release anything to the public of what I do for my own enjoyment. Cheers to moderators and people that post their art and comics and other stuff online.

Dude, this is exactly what you are doing. You have wandered into the fediverse that welcomes everybody and you are upset that not everybody agrees with you on everything and that justifies you being a dick. You are exactly the thing you are hating on in your head canon self righteous hero narrative.

Take this moment to reflect on your first instinctual mental response. Is it "but that's because I'm right"? Think about this and what it implies.

White supremacist narcissist cry-baby has his people skew the AI chat bot bias from factual to fit his reality tunnel and now it is a nazi bot.

Shocker, isn't it.

If you think so and that this is important, maybe you could be the one that makes it happen. Start a project and gather like-minded people. That is how Linux, FOSS and community driven efforts operate. It's useless to complain that nobody else makes the effort if you have the capabilities but can't be arsed making an attempt yourself.

YouTube keeps showing me offers to give me two months premium for free, but when I click it they offer only one.

I'm pretty sure this is illegal in the EU but I can't be bothered so I stick with the ad blocker and reset the cookies every once in a while.

There is no authority delegating responsibilities of writing tutorials for Linux. It is the responsibility of nobody and everybody. If you can't find one for your problem, write it yourself when you have figured it out.

For every change there is an angry Linux user. Even when it is easily disabled and never a problem again.

On the flip side - how often do you install new programs so this becomes an annoyance in the first place?

I install something new maybe once a month or less for desktop use. I have not even noticed this blip.

Somewhat more often in and for terminal use.

The clearing where we bury the unbelievers and let the forest thrive on the nutrients released from their rotting carcasses.

Well, that's what we do here at least.

What to do when they keep barking at the neighbours?

I know all my dogs friends names but less than half of their owners names and now it is too late to ask.

May his tomorrow be without... No, wait!

I bet Buddhist monks living in celibacy need some relief too

Remembered this singalong from that other recent post about light of the world.

Now I'm hangry and I want a pizza.

Fuck that guy.

So apparently Zalando is problematic, see https://lemmy.ml/post/29285005.

I liked it because they have plenty of brands and despite they made it more difficult some years ago, it was still possible to filter somewhat by environmental and ethical gradings.

Alternatives?
