Now just finish off iMessage and we're done (I'm talking about categorising it as a gatekeeper, since what I've recently noticed is the amount of people who are close to me (classmates, old friends) that switched to apple is growing rapidly, and I'm now waiting for a day someone will be confused as to why I can't use iMessage (mark my words at least here in Czechia iPhone users are going to be a problem, I hope that the situation doesn't end up like in the US)

Honestly the Murder Drones "Worker Drone" is an awesome base design (the disassembly drone just looks like an emo version of the base design), if I ever wanted to be a robot I would be that, too bad they (canonically) run on core 2 quads(or maybe even core 2 duos), which I had the experience to deal with irl and even on Linux they're painfully slow

Well considering here in Czechia (the country that's 90% "middle of fucking nowhere") it's scary that a third of active phones are iPhones, how does anyone except the people living in big cities afford this shit? People around me are getting iPhones, but it's always like 4-5 year old 11s and 12s, literally the shittiest investment you can do

You wouldn't believe how many people are actually incompetent using a pc beyond using default values and browsing the web, for example in school one day I had to help classmates save their project documents to the school's server, because they didn't know how to browse the select folder dialogue box (or whatever it's called), and another dude in my class didn't know how to use the shortcut bar at the bottom of the window in PowerPoint so he literally scrolled through the ribbon for like 2 minutes before he managed to launch the presentation (and this guy is a straight A student to note), I also heard stories about coworkers which didn't know how to open a zip file or how to forward an email

The oversimplification of software is really problematic, since everything is made to be as straightforward as it can be people just go with it and then have a problem when they need to do something a different way

Yup, can say that firefox is quite a bit slower on android (but honestly it's still quite ok, unless it decides to loop loading the page, or it bugs out in another way, at least on my phone it's quite prone to breaking, for comparison brave is really a bit faster than Firefox

To be fair this shitty way to run schools is getting to Europe too, I remember like a few months ago teachers went on strike for a few days against the government because it wanted to cut funding for schools (country wide), and considering we have pretty decent schools here (compared to the US) and cutting funding meant all of the nice things just going away (like no cafeteria, like bring your own food method, which would suck ass since I live far away from my school for example)

Lucky we didn't hear from the government ever again after, since it was basically all the schools in the country, this happened in Czechia btw, just so anyone isn't confused as where this happened

But honestly our government is a shit show and I am not surprised they gave up after 1 day of strike

Honestly we probably can just somehow shove Linux components like flatpak and other stuff like the terminal into android, make them apks somehow so they can work whenever

Of course this would be hard AF to do but I just want to run tik tok in a sealed off VM using flatseal goddamnit (I don't trust it with my phone but I want to access the videos on it)
