A place to alert others/be alerted of bun sightings.

RULES:

  1. Be kind to each other. Buns are cute, cuddly, and nice. Be like buns.

  2. Posts should be images of buns doing bun things. Bun things include eating, chilling, playing, hopping, and sleeping. You wouldn't want to be alerted of a capybara doing calculus through the Bun Alert System, would you? For other bun discussion, see some other communities below.

  3. Images should be of living, healthy, happy buns. The Bun Alert System exists to bring smiles to bun enjoyers around the world, not sour frowns.

  4. Keep it suitable for all bun enjoyers. Nothing too freaky or NSFW.

  5. With respect to this community, moderators are the smolest buns. Please shoot us a message if you have questions or concerns!

Hello fellow bun enjoyers!

Some of you may have noticed my comments on certain bun posts commending the poster for achieving the highest buns-per-photo ratio seen so far on our fair Bun Alert System. If you're one of the ones who noticed, good job! If not, that's okay, I still love you.

In this here meta post, I will be keeping track of the current titleholder, as well as maintaining a list of previous holders. The list is right here, right now! (bet you weren't expecting so soon, were you?)

Q: How do you determine the current titleholder?

A: Sort by new, enjoy bun photos, count number of buns in the photos, if new record observed, check older posts for greater than or equal bun count. If none found, update roster!

A: As much as your efforts are appreciated, titles are only granted to whomever achieves the record first. Don't give up though, you may find N+1 buns some other time!

Hello bun enjoyers!

Following inspiration from a certain holey sibling community, we at Fun Bun Facts want to know your favourite fun bun fact you've learned this year! You can pick from any of the fun bun facts that have previously made an appearance on this community, or any other you've learned/discovered/observed/~~made up~~.

List of previous fun bun facts:

  1. Thanks to all the vitamin A they get from eating carrots, buns have incredible eyesight!
  2. A bun's ears are so powerful, they're sensitive to radio & satellite signals! This enables them to watch TV with their minds!
  3. Buns are incredibly intelligent! So intelligent, that they've engineered for themselves rocket-booster shoes! This is what enables buns to hop very long distances!
  4. Buns have very powerful teeth! Monty Python tried to warn you, but you didn't listen!
  5. Buns have a very strong sense of smell! So strong, that they can smell our fear!
  6. There are buns all over the place! There may even be one in your backyard right now!
  7. OH MY GOD THERE IS A BUN RIGHT BEHIND ME!
  8. Buns are really cool! They're super cute and very friendly!
  9. Throwing lettuce onto a bun does not make it a sandwich!
