If you'd vote for 99% Hitler over 100% Hitler, you'd have done nothing about the Holocaust if you were there. Full stop.

I kinda feel we’re shooting ourselves in the foot with the 99% Hitler line. The crime of genocide has a legal definition, one which does not define a population threshold or number which must be destroyed before it counts.

Biden is committing genocide. If Trump won and proceeded to intensify the killing, murdering twice as many, that would not be two genocides or a double genocide. The only thing that would double is the number of US presidents guilty of conducting genocide against the people of Palestine. Or the ones conducting this particular escalation, to be more precise. All previous ones are also guilty and history did not begin on October 7

99% Hitler does not mean "not committing genocide" and genocides can indeed be larger or smaller, and more or less "complete".

When it comes to the people who see a genuine difference between the corpse of a fascist and the orange of a fascist, it really doesn't make a difference what we say. They look at current events and say "this is what Trump's usia/living unders socialism looks like." They're so divorced from reality that they aren't convinced of what the best recorded genocide of all time truly is.
