Are you able to get Paxlovid? My dad, who's around the same age, got it in 2022. His health already wasn't great and he got hit pretty hard before my brother was able to get paxlovid for him. It helped a lot.

Paxlovid is good. A buddy of mine had to take it due to a chronic illness he has as a precaution as directed by his doctor, nocked it out pretty quick. Makes your mouth taste like ass though.

Seconding the Paxlovid. My parents are in their 60s but fairly unhealthy, and recoveres from their COVID totally fine thanks to that stuff.
Paxlovid works. My 99 year old great grandmother got it twice and survived
