Agreed. It's the first Trek I've seen in a long time that felt like it was coming from the same place as the TNG era shows
Eh, I tried watching the first three seasons a few years back and it never caught me. I respect that it seems to have a lot of reverence for the source material, but I just don't enjoy the humor.
This s includes TNG. Watch the first two seasons and tell me I'm wrong.
