I stand by the position that the goal has always been to make communism less attractive to the soft-left that is on the fringe of becoming a communist if they just have the right interaction with the right person or read the right content that gives them a political "Oh I get it" moment.

Those people are mostly soft-left kinda lib-ish brainwormy people. They're deeply turned off by the maga-communists and the mecha-tankies and all this other shit. That stuff all struck me as an op to tar all communists with and thus make people dismiss communist content on the basis of their interaction with it having been... That

Essentially we all get labelled tankies, and then the image of "tankie" in people's minds is the mecha-tankies. Haz and his lot. This has already been somewhat effective among the younger crowd of anti-tankie anarchists and filled up trans communities. And it's been effective in soft-left communities with a lot of libs.

It's thought-termination. It exists to make people terminate their thinking and thus, when confronted by the thing that would have turned them onto the path of communism, they have already turned off their brain and thus do not engage with it.

This is all well within the realm and thought process at the CIA.
