I've been taking advantage of the windy hot weather to tackle Mt Washmore. I've also just made a Bolognese. What else did I do today? Oh yeah I learnt to play Ludo, which turns out to be Miniest's favourite game. I can see why, I have to admit I kind of liked it. I'll have to have another match this evening after dinner.

I love scrabble

I play fierce to win

Scrabble frustrates me. I consider myself to be an articulate person with a reasonable vocabulary, but I routinely fail dismally where Scrabble is concerned πŸ€”

It’s luck of the draw no matter how expansive your vocabulary is.

JINX on a double letter triple word score rocks

I started winning when I realised the aim is to score points and win, not make fancy words

doing lots of crosswords also really helped me to make words in a matrix

I need to practise it more, but it reaches a point with me where it becomes a grim, serious exercise and I stop enjoying it. Think I'll stick to Ludo lol.

I compete with myself ( if you get what I mean ) and how other people play is a joy to me. And once the game is over it's over. It's all in fun. πŸ™‚
