Scrabble frustrates me. I consider myself to be an articulate person with a reasonable vocabulary, but I routinely fail dismally where Scrabble is concerned π€
Itβs luck of the draw no matter how expansive your vocabulary is.
JINX on a double letter triple word score rocks
I started winning when I realised the aim is to score points and win, not make fancy words
doing lots of crosswords also really helped me to make words in a matrix
I need to practise it more, but it reaches a point with me where it becomes a grim, serious exercise and I stop enjoying it. Think I'll stick to Ludo lol.
I compete with myself ( if you get what I mean ) and how other people play is a joy to me. And once the game is over it's over. It's all in fun. π
