Ahhhh i thought one would be cassian for some reason. I guess he's space stalin? Except he dies before the revolution even is organized into a state like entity

Yea, they all die sadly, the only ok rebel leader after them is leia but she gets sideline by the new gov and eventually kicked out from the galactic senateI guess it goes to show you what happens when you destroy a fascist governing faction without doing the work of building a committed ideological base and local dual power throughout communities that would otherwise through liberalism turn against you
Karis Nemik might've realised this, had he survived. During the construction of the Yavin base would've been the ideal time to really push it among the rebellion forces. Had he been there I think he might've realised it, especially as he was really really into teaching theory to others.
