it's looked down on because white supremacy attaches "supremacy" to not being part of the servant class that makes the food. and like. tbh we all have those days we just don't feel up to it and go grab something to eat, but white supremacy seeks to incentivize a society in which white people never make their own food, even if they're lower class. there's a really fascinating problem in america where white poverty and black poverty look different because white people are more likely to be over the poverty line but still impoverished. when you are in that bracket it is legitimately cheaper and more time efficient to get prepared meals rather than ingredients. however, if you qualify for snap benefits (food stamps) a prepared meal is an occasional treat because the food stamps cover ingredients rather than complete meals.

what's more is this deepens the distance between poor white people and poor black people who should be coalitioning together against their oppressors because it lets the oppressors trick the poor white people into thinking there is some intrinsic difference or even superiority between white people and black people
