The current conflict is not about multipolar world. It is about autocracies, and land grabs relating to China, Russia, and friends and expansionism. There is no negotiation about Korea, Taiwan, Ukraine, or eastern Europe possible unless the west just surrenders.
There is also a huge attack on democratic systems world wide. Lot of powerful interests in the west are actively undermining demcracy with the support of Russia, China, and friends. This frankly is an even bigger issue. The result is maga and post truth in the US and autocratic tendencies and incompetence.
