This was the best, most futuristic UI ever put on an electronic device and I will hear no arguments.
I have an Xbox with this dash.
It belonged to my girlfriend and was never updated. It's an interesting time capsule.
OP's was literally called "NXE," for "New Xbox Experience."
Ahhhhh, remember the good old says when you could have your favourite kill 'em all playlist playing AND play a game at the same time? Back when the xbox was primarily a gaming machine with a media player attached. I was so disappointed when the xbone came out and it had become a media/entertainment machine that you could possibly play games on, and that was the last xbox purchase I ever made.
I loved this UI. When i finally got a 360 of my own, I was stuck with v2.
