Never really understood why people drink aspartame water. Soda was originally intended to be a sugary treat and an experience to be enjoyed every once in a while, not a daily source of hydration.

You develop a taste for it

The problem is people get addicted to it. So maybe they think they can break the addiction by drinking a substitute like this, but since they're addicted to caffeine & sugar, they're just teasing their dopamine receptors & will keep drinking these types of things in a neverending pursuit of sugar & caffeine.

Until they ever might WAKE UP & REALIZE WHAT THEY'RE DOING TO THEMSELVES,

and begin the battle to fight the addiction and learn how good it feels to eat clean, drink clean.

Water is the nectar of life, y'all.

Addiction drives quarterly profits, though.

It sure does! I identified my sugar addiction in my 20s/30s and when I realized what the food industry is intentionally doing to us, like at my gym they would sell "protein cookies" 😡 I knew exactly what they're doing! Appealing to the weakness of hungry gymgoers and keeping us addicted to sugar so we would keep our gym membership to keep burning off all the fat and toxins these foods are giving us. I fought so hard for a decade to conquer it. THE JUNK FOOD INDUSTRY needs to BURN IN HELL FOR PROFITING OFF DESTROYING HUMANS.

People are addicted to it and see the aspartame water with no sugar and no calories and feel they can drink as much as they want guilt free.

I feel like it helps with digestion after eating heavily, but I can't even picture someone literally drinking them for hydration

Soda is enjoyable, aspartame is healthier than corn syrup. It's pretty simple.

I love the taste of aspartame, it's so so good. If I'm having a soda, I only drink diet pepsi because it's the most aspertame-y of all the colas. I don't like the regular sugar ones
