There was a poll awhile back that if you said Obamacare then fox views were against it. but if you mention The Affordable Care Act (ACA) they liked it.

If you could repackage progressive reforms they would sell like hotcakes.

The 1956 Republican Convention Party Platform has entered the chat.

Just rebrand all your progressive polices as Eisenhower's.

Key Principles of the 1956 Republican Platform Civil Rights: The platform supported the enforcement of civil rights laws and aimed to eliminate segregation in public schools, aligning with the Supreme Court's mandate at the time.

Labor Rights: It advocated for the protection of workers' rights to organize into unions and bargain collectively. The platform also supported strengthening labor laws to facilitate union membership.

Economic Policies: The platform called for federal assistance to low-income communities, the extension of minimum wage laws, and improvements to the unemployment benefit system to cover more individuals.

Social Welfare: It emphasized the importance of Social Security and proposed measures to ensure equal pay for equal work, regardless of gender.

Immigration and Asylum: The platform supported a compassionate immigration policy that provided asylum for refugees and aimed to treat all individuals equally, regardless of race or religion.

Foreign Policy: The platform reflected a commitment to collective security through alliances like NATO and support for nations resisting communist influence, showcasing a strong anti-communist stance typical of the era.
