Used T450-480 can still be found for fairly cheap on ebay, although it may be somewhat location dependent now that shipping is fucked.
They've traditionally been a great value proposition because they're sold en masse to corporations that upgrade every year and offload the old ones, so there's an oversupply of lightly-used enterprise laptops. I'd never buy a thinkpad new and I'd never buy any of their consumer models.
